Ben Delutis raises over $30k for children’s charity

From 14 – 22 May, DeGroup’s Chief Operating Officer, Ben Delutis; participated in the 2022 Chain Reaction Charity Bike Ride to help raise funds for the Monash Children’s Hospital (MCH) and the Starlight Children’s Foundation (SCF).

Over the course of seven days, Delutis travelled over 1,000kmacross far north Queensland alongside industry colleagues, with Ben personally raising over $30,000 for the incredible cause. “It was such an amazing experience to be a part of,” said Ben. “Collectively, the event raised over $1.4m dollars, exceeding our $1m dollar target. It was an incredible effort by everyone involved and I’m thrilled to have had the opportunity to support such a wonderful cause”.

The Chain Reaction Charity Bike Ride has been supporting MCH and SCF for 16 years, with funds going towards the operation of the Starlight Express Room – a play space filled with joy and laughter, where sick children and their families can enjoy a welcome break from medical treatments and procedures.
